Founding Principal

Becca Timms is a seasoned expert dedicated to guiding clients in aligning sustainability requirements with tangible value drivers. As the Founding Principal at Ultreia Advisory, she brings a wealth of experience from over a decade of spearheading environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives at Jamestown, a prominent vertically integrated real estate investment manager and service provider.

During her tenure at Jamestown, Ms. Timms successfully embedded sustainable practices across the firm’s operations and property portfolio, achieving impressive milestones, including a 45% reduction in energy use and a 43% decrease in greenhouse gas emissions from 2014 to 2023. Her recent contributions include co-leading Jamestown’s Innovation and Sustainability initiatives, where she explored technology pilots and strategic opportunities to promote savings and minimize environmental impact. Becca also served as an Investment Committee member for Jamestown timberlands fund, and supported the development of Jamestown’s innovative wood products business.

Before her time at Jamestown, Ms. Timms served as a local government consultant with Clark Patterson and Lee, fulfilling the roles of Community Development Coordinator and Sustainability Commission Staff Liaison for the City of Dunwoody, GA.

An engaged member of the community, Becca volunteers with organizations such as the Urban Land Institute, the U.S. Green Building Council, and Community Farmers Markets. She holds a B.A. in Spanish and Environmental Policy from Sewanee, the University of the South, and an M.S. in Sustainable Development, Environmental Policy, and Management from Utrecht University.

In Spanish, "camino" translates to "path," "road," "way," or "route," and can also refer to a journey or course.

The Camino de Santiago, "The Way of Saint James," is a network of ancient pilgrimage routes leading to the shrine of Saint James the Great in the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in northwestern Spain.

Becca completed the Camino de Santiago in the summer of 2006 as part of the Summer in Spain program at Sewanee: The University of the South. Since then, Becca has continued to tap into the lessons from the camino and the power of a good long walk outside to feed the mind and the soul.
